This week's event was exciting with quite a few new faces to the pub. The chessboard saw lots of action with several games being played. First at chess was Squabbit Dagger facing off against Contemplating 'Temp' Rieko. Squabbit won that game quickly, keeping her seat to play Blyde Electricteeth. Blyde took that very challenging game and moved on to face Dan Bloch. Dan won the third game giving us three separate winners at chess. They each received $100L for their skillful wins. On the backgammon side, Chester Cournoyer faced off against pub champion McHarry 'Captain' Hax. Captain almost gammoned Chester for a $50L bonus prize but Chester managed to pull his pieces in before Captain won. Next up to challenge Captain was AriadnaDragon Writer. Unfortunately there was a glitch in the board near the end of their game and they had to replay. Squabbit was playing Gilly Gully on the second backgammon table so they replayed their game after Squabbit, in her first ever backgammon game, beat the pants off Gilly. AriadnaDragon won the rematch with Captain. Overall we had five different winners with a grand total payout of $600L. Join us on Wednesday October 31 for a Halloween extravaganza at Wichi with Apple Mackay spinning some creepy tracks and lots of dancing and good times. We will continue our weekly backgammon and chess games the following Wednesday, November 7. If anyone is interested in a cribbage match or two, the new crib table will be available. Congratulations to all our winners! Only registered users can write comments!
