This week's event showed an increased interest by SL'ers with several people dropping by the Pub to check out the games.  We decided to play one game rounds with the winner retaining their seat and winning the prize of $100L.  The first backgammon game was played between McHarry 'Captain' Hax and Nasus Dumart.  The Captain won that game, staying to take on Bolt Gaffer.  Winning a second time, Captain stayed to play Kghia Gherardi.  With his third straight win, our champion walked away with a cool $300L in his pocket.

            We also got a chess game going in the alley way with Krampus Wise and Blyde Electricteeth facing off.  Unfortunately Krampus had to leave early and they didn't get to finish their game.  However, near the end of the evening we were visited by a cute pink rabbit who expressed an interest in Chess.  Hopefully next week we'll get another chess game going for these interested players.

            Mr. Jimpsky Rhode arrived partway through the event and took on Gilly Gully on the patio backgammon table.  Gilly won that friendly and very close game.  As we had several people drop by who didn't know how to play backgammon, we discussed a possible future teaching event to introduce new players to the exciting world of backgammon.  Look for that to be posted sometime in November.

            Join us next Wednesday, October 24 as we play another fun night of backgammon and chess.  Also feel free to stop by and play a friendly game of checkers on the patio and enjoy the free drinks at the pub.  The following Wednesday, Molaskey's will host a spooky Halloween party and we'll resume our regular games in November.
